The primary service rendered by a law firm is to advise clients about their legal rights and responsibilities, and to represent clients in civil or criminal cases, business transactions, and other matters in which legal advice and other assistance are sought.

विधि फर्म एक या एक से अधिक वकीलों से मिलकर बनी एक व्यापारिक वस्तु है जो कानून का कार्य करने के लिए बनायी जाती हैं। इसका मुख्य काम अपने ग्राहकों को कानून सम्बन्धी सलाह देना तथा उनके सिविल या आपराधिक मुकदमें लड़ना होता है।
